| M-Coupe |
| It may come as a surprise, but before there was a division of Ford called Mercury, Chevrolet produced a coupe called the Mercury coupe. This ’33 Chevy Mercury coupe was built by Greening Auto Company into an amazing hot rod. |

| Koolant |
| Typically you wouldn’t think
of a ’58 Chevy Apache pickup as a hot rod. However, this antifreeze green pickup nicknamed Koolant is all hot rod with a space age theme. |

| Set Ablaze |
| Nothing says hot rod like a set of flames. The brighter the better and more characterized the better. Orange and purple contrast really well and they make for a great looking set of flames that attract attention wherever they are seen. |

| See the USA |
| Chevrolet used to advertise in
the 50’s and 60’s that you should see the USA in a Chevrolet. What better way to see it than from behind the wheel of one of their many muscle cars? This shot is of the hood of a ’63 Impala with the highly desired 409 under it. |

| Deception |
| Although the taillights may
lead one to believe that this is the rear of a ’52 Mercury, this is actually a custom ’49 Mercury wagon with ’52 Mercury rear quarters and taillights. Customizer Dave Dolman did such a great job that it is hard to tell that it is not ’52 Mercury. Nevertheless it is an outstanding custom full of deception.. |

| Crate '37 |
| Nothing is more timeless or collectible than a woody wagon. They have a look that is classic Americana and no other vehicle makes you want to go to the beach more than a woody wagon. This one is owned by the Slover’s of Pete and Jakes Hot Rods and was originally exported to Africa when new. |

| Bel Air |
| Easily one of the most popular cars of all time, the ’57 Chevy Bel Air is one of the most recognizable cars of the 1950’s. The fins of the ’57 are just as recognizable and easily thought of when most people think of fin cars. These perfectly styled fins are just one of the reasons the ’57 is one of the most popular collector cars around. |

| To the Max |
| As far as ’55 Chevy’s are concerned, this yellow and white example built by Steve Cook Creations is one of the finest. Detailed to the max, this ’55 is one of the nicest late models to ever hit the streets. |

| High Beams |
| Something you don’t see that often is a Mopar hot rod. This skyscraping grille and headlights belongs to a ’33 Plymouth coupe that is an absolutely spectacular Mopar hot rod. |

| Finsational |
| Fins were big in the 50’s and as the decade continued on they only got bigger. This ’57 Chevy Bel Air convertible has an iconic look that is most directly connected to the 50’s and from this point of view the fin’s look skyscraping. |

| Merc-O-Matic |
| One of the best-styled cars of the 1950’s has to be the ’54 Mercury. Although this is just a glimpse of one, you can still see a signature-crested emblem that Mercury used during this time period, mixed with stainless trim, and a deep black paint job making this ’54 one fine Merc. |

| Kontageous Vision |
| Daring to be different is what so many car builders try and do these days, but only a few can pull it off. This ’51 Kaiser called Kontageous is a phenomenal creation by Desert Auto and this photo was shot at the historic dry lake El Mirage. |

| Hypnotic Chrome |
| Nice show chrome is so reflective that it captures almost everything around it. Just check out the beautiful reflections on the chrome center and trim. The combination of the bullet hubcap, silver steel wheel, and trim ring makes for a hypnotic swirl. |
